The Sir Manasseh Meyer International School, originally named the Ganenu Learning Centre, was renamed in his honour in 2008. أعيد تسمية مدرسة السير ماناسيه ماير الدولية، التي سميت في الأصل بمركز غانينو التعليمي، تكريماً له في عام 2008.
Sir Manasseh Meyer was created a Knight Bachelor in 1 March 1929 by the British for his generous contributions to society. كان السير ماناسيه ماير قد حصل على لقب فارس في عام 1929 من قبل البريطانيين لمساهمته السخية في المجتمع.
Born in Baghdad and educated in Calcutta, Manasseh Meyer came to Singapore in 1861 aged 15 and continued his English education in St Joseph's Institution. ولد في بغداد وتلقى تعليمه في كلكتا, وجاء إلى سنغافورة في عام 1861 وكان يتراوح عمره بين 15 و أستمر في تعليم اللغة الإنجليزية في معهد سانت جوزيف.
